New wp-cache 2.0.21

Filed under: Mis hacks, soft libre — gallir @ 16:52

I just released wp-cache version 2.0.21. This versión fixes a very stupid bug introduce by a previous patch (a missing “global” declaration for $blog_id.

The wp-cache-2 page.

Installation note: Simply uncompress the zip file and overwrite all previous wp-cache files. The fastest method is to change to the “plugin” directory and unzip from there. Then delete all previously cached files from the wp-cache admin panel, that’s all.

  2. This one seems to work.

The link on the wp-cache-2 page still seems to link to the -20 version .zip, though. Thought you should know.

    Cheers :)

  3. WP-Cache 2.0.21 disponible

  5. Hi! We’re using your plugin for our blog and had a quick question. Does your plugin know when to regenerate an expired page? I know you can delete them manually, but I would think it would know when to recreate them.

Thanks and this is a great plugin!

  6. Al comentar el admin parece ser que no se refresca la caché. Alguien más tiene este problema? Es un bug?

  8. I’ve just installed WP-Cache 2.0.21 on my blog this evening, and it doesn’t seem to be working quite right. If I reload a page, the number of seconds that WP says it took to generate (per the comments at bottom of source) may change, as will the time for dynamic generation reported by WP-Cache. The comment stating how long it took to serve the page statically (which I remember from previous versions of this plugin, and is mentioned in the readme) fails to appear at all.

All the necessary files and directories were created upon plugin activation, and the required changes have been made to wp-config.php. Files are even showing up in the cache folder, so I’m not sure what’s going on here. Could this be related to using a pre-2.0.6 version of WordPress? I’m reluctant to say exactly what version I’m using because of security concerns, but can tell you via e-mail if it would help with troubleshooting.

  9. Not sure what happened, but it has mysteriously started working. All the issues I mentioned are now gone.

It’s been about long enough for the first batch of cached pages to expire. Could this have anything to do with it?

By the way, your site is reeeeaaaaly slow in Firefox 2.0.0.1 for Windows XP. Very quick in Opera 9.01, however. A JavaScript issue, maybe?

  12. WP-Cache is excellent, but it seems to be incompatible with Kimili Flash Embed v1.1. I noticed an earlier comment to this effect (www.snipurl.com/17hap/), and I’m having the exact same problem. Is this something that can be fixed?

  13. Excellent plugin, great job. I too am using Kimili Flash Embed and am also wondering if anybody has some sort of hack to get it to work..

  14. Tras instalar la última versión, cada vez que se recibe un comentario no se refresca la cache, por lo que no se muestra hasta que ha caducado. Que puede ser? Puedes mirarlo Ricardo por favor?
